Outtake

Monday, May 26, 2014
Just had to share this cute outtake from this weekend.

The wind started to pick up a bit and was blowing the balloons in the little guy's face.

My husband says a good caption for this pic would be:

'Alright, I've had enough of this *bleep*!

His expression is priceless!  lol

2nd Annual Road Trip Pt 1 - Glass Beach/Fort Bragg California

Thursday, May 22, 2014
After our road trip last year to Mt Rushmore and surrounding areas,
my sister and I decided we wanted to take a road trip every year.
This year we decided upon the
Northern California/Southern Oregon coast.

It was so beautiful and we had a great time.

Let me say, a road trip of this type requires a lot of time in the car.  But we were prepared.  We packed a bunch of snacks (some even healthy, I might add), some books on 'tape' and headed out.

We started out from Utah and drove to Reno, NV for the first, long leg of the trip.

Salt Flats

Our first stop in California.  Glass Beach!

I just love the ocean!

Part 4 - Jefferson Ave Historic District

Our final stop for the day.

Part 3 - Eccles Ave Historic District

I my opinion, one of the best kept secrets in Ogden.  Well, I didn't learn about it until a few years ago when a friend of mine moved into one of the beautiful, historic homes located there.

So, I suggested we go photograph it when we got done with the Union Station.

This quaint little side street is in the center of Ogden, east of downtown and it is just gorgeous.  If you ever get the chance to drive through, you should.  You can read more about it here.

It was raining the entire time we were there but still so beautiful.

I can just imagine what it looks like in the fall.

I, for one, plan on returning.

Part 2 - Details - Browning-Kimball Classic Car Museum

More from our photo walk.

I must admit... I am not much of a car enthusiast.  There is only one of these hood ornaments that I personally recognize.  lol  But I did enjoy photographing them.  Especially the details.

Strike a Pose!

Man, I am so behind.  Decided to go ahead and start posting my daily pics, even tho' I don't always take one every day.  Sigh!  I am seriously going to try to do better.

I do have lots of pictures to post, tho.  My brother (another photog family member) has been visiting from England for the last three weeks.  He left today.  :(  But we had a lot of fun and went on several photowalks along with my mother, who is also a photog.  We even made a little road trip to Moab.  Can't wait to start editing the pics from there!

In the meantime....

I discovered a Lego store this weekend!  It just sells Legos!  What a treat!

Then when my granddaughter and I put together a set I'd purchased that day, we discovered there was a little camera!  So cute!

Of course, we've already misplaced the black piece that represented the lens so I had to substitute (can't believe I didn't have another one in that pile of Legos in the toy room).

Anyway, I just had to do a Lego pic.
