My First 'Newborn' Shoot

I put it in quotes because technically speaking, at least to most newborn photographers, she's not a newborn.  She is exactly 1 month old.  Therefore a bit of a challenge for someone who has never photographed a newborn.  In spite of having the heat WAY higher than was comfortable for me and the whole bottle she drank right after she got here... she was determined to stay awake!  Of course, having her eyes WIDE open made for some CUTE photos.  Consequently, tho', all my 'plans' went right out the window.  I had to improvise.  But I learned a TON.  I'll be much more prepared for my next one in May.  For sure he will be no more than a week old!
